Dr. Singh’s Cosmedica Department of Aesthetic Medicine & Cosmetic Dentistry
Acne may clear with time, but the scars it leaves behind can persist as depressed areas, uneven texture, enlarged-looking pores and changes in skin appearance.
At Dr. Singh’s Cosmedica Department of Aesthetic Medicine & Cosmetic Dentistry, we provide advanced acne scar treatments through medically guided Aesthetic Medicine protocols designed to improve scar texture, skin smoothness and overall appearance.
What Can Acne Scar Treatment Help With?
Our advanced Aesthetic Medicine protocols target:
The type, depth and pattern of your scarring are clinically assessed to determine the most appropriate and personalised treatment approach.
Releases selected fibrous scar attachments beneath the skin and is particularly suited to tethered or rolling acne scars.
Creates controlled micro-injuries that stimulate skin repair and collagen remodelling to improve uneven texture.
Selected medical peels improve surface texture, post-acne marks and uneven pigmentation.
Regenerative treatments that support collagen remodelling and skin rejuvenation.
Incorporated into personalised skin rejuvenation protocols where appropriate.
Advanced regenerative skin treatments supporting skin repair and overall skin quality.

Depressed and uneven scars involve structural changes in the skin, while post-acne pigmentation or redness primarily affects skin colour. Because the underlying concerns are different, they require different treatment approaches.
Treatment selection is based on the scar type, depth and extent, skin characteristics, previous treatments and individual goals. The number of sessions and combination of procedures are determined following clinical assessment.
Treatments are planned with an understanding of skin anatomy, scar characteristics and advanced Aesthetic Medicine.
Different acne scar patterns require different treatment approaches rather than a fixed, single-treatment protocol.
Subcision, medical microneedling, chemical peels, PRP, GFC, mesotherapy, PDRN and exosome-based treatments are available according to individual requirements.
The objective is to improve the appearance of acne scars, uneven texture and overall skin quality.

Acne scar treatment aims to reduce the appearance and improve the texture of scars. The degree of improvement varies according to scar type, severity, skin characteristics and individual response.
There is no standard number of sessions. The treatment plan depends on the type and severity of scarring and the procedures selected.
Subcision is particularly suited to acne scars that are tethered beneath the skin, including certain rolling and depressed scars. Suitability is determined during clinical assessment.
Medical microneedling helps improve certain types of acne scars and uneven skin texture by stimulating controlled skin repair and collagen remodelling.
Post-acne pigmentation is different from structural acne scarring and requires a different treatment approach. Both concerns can be assessed during consultation.
